The winner of the 2015 General Manager of the Year is... The General Manager of the Pittsburgh PiratesVertigo. Vertigo won the back-to-back World Series in 2014 and 2015. Since coming to the Pirates oraganization Vertigo has accomplished great feats with the Pirates such as, Getting there first winning season since 1992, as well as getting the Pirates to there first 100 win season since 1909, and finallt Vert won the Pirates first World Series since 1979 when the Pirates motto was "We are family".
