Soxfan said this about the trade, "I've liked Raley for a while, and finally had the opportunity to get him. Lin is a top notch CF, despite his 84 overall, but he's relegated to the bench based on my OF starters. SImon hasn't performed as I'd like, so he's been sent to the minors. Hopefully he'll be able to make some headway in the NL."
